Our Story

Welcome from the team

Welcome to Aged Care Training Services (ACTS).

If you’re here, you’re likely considering a career where your work genuinely matters. That’s not a small decision – and neither is choosing the right training provider.

Since 1998, ACTS has been delivering nationally recognised qualifications to individuals who want to build meaningful careers in aged care and disability support. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6127), we focus on practical, industry-aligned training that prepares you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to work in real care environments.

Our vision is simple: raise the standard of care across Australia by developing capable, compassionate and work-ready graduates.

We work closely with industry and health care providers to ensure our training reflects current practices, legislation and workplace expectations. Our trainers bring real-world experience into the classroom, creating learning environments that are structured, supportive and relevant to today’s sector.

When you train with ACTS, you can expect:

  • Clear course information and transparent enrolment processes
  • Structured learning with experienced trainers
  • Practical skills development aligned to industry requirements
  • Supervised workplace placement as required within your qualification
  • Ongoing student support throughout your studies

Choosing a training provider is about trust. We take that seriously. Our role is to equip you with the tools to step confidently into a caring profession – what you do with those skills is where your impact begins.

If you’re ready to start a career that makes a difference, we’d love to speak with you about your options.

The ACTS Team

Our Approach

At ACTS, we believe quality training shapes quality care.

As a Registered Training Organisation, we deliver nationally recognised qualifications in accordance with the Standards for RTOs and relevant training package requirements. Our focus is not just on completing units of competency – it is on ensuring learners can apply their skills safely, professionally and ethically in the workplace.

We prepare learners for employment in aged care and disability support by:

Industry-Aligned Training

Our course content is regularly reviewed in consultation with industry stakeholders and health care providers to ensure it reflects current legislation, workplace practices and sector expectations.

Practical Skill Development

We integrate theory with practical application. Where required, qualifications include supervised workplace placement to ensure learners demonstrate competency in real care settings.

Individualised Support

Every learner is different. We provide guidance, academic support and reasonable adjustments where required to support successful course progression, while maintaining the integrity of assessment standards.

Structured and Supportive Delivery

Our training is delivered in a clear, organised format that supports knowledge development, confidence building and professional growth.

We are proud of the graduates who have progressed through our programs over the past two decades. Their success reflects the strength of their commitment – and the quality of the training foundation they built with us.

If you are looking for structured, compliant and industry-relevant training that prepares you for real-world care roles, ACTS is ready to support your journey.
